BLINK is a real-time generative system inspired by vanitas paintings and the mesmerizing chromatic patterns of thin film interference. We compose dynamic, ever-changing bubble surfaces with reflected noise fields and random streams, some of the primitive components of generative art. The effect is contradictory, both planetary and fleeting: in ictu oculi — in the blink of an eye.
